Hillsborough College is proud to announce that Malayna Stevenson and Chandler Davis have been selected to the 2025–26 D1 All‑FCSAA Teams, recognizing two of Region 8's top performers.
Stevenson Dominates as One of Region 8's Top Small Forwards
Sophomore small forward Malayna Stevenson earned All‑FCSAA honors after a breakout season in which she averaged 17.0 points overall and 18.9 points in conference play, finishing with 340 points against Southern Conference opponents.
The Hawks closed the year 14–17 overall and ended in a three‑way tie for fourth place at 7–11, narrowly missing the State Tournament after a final‑game loss that gave Eastern Florida the tiebreaker. Stevenson's scoring, versatility, and ability to take over games kept HC in postseason contention until the final day.
Her selection marks the sixth straight season that Hillsborough has placed a player on the All‑FCSAA Women's Team.
Davis Earns All‑State Recognition for Men's Basketball
Sophomore guard Chandler Davis was named to the D1 All‑FCSAA Men's Team after averaging 21.4 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 3.9 assists, totaling 620 points—one of the highest marks in Region 8. His production stood out throughout a challenging season for the men's program.
A Strong Moment for Hawks Athletics
Both Stevenson and Davis showcased the toughness, growth, and competitive excellence that define Hillsborough College Basketball, and each is poised to continue their career at the next level.
